Privacy Policy for Floating Town: Village Builder
This policy applies to Floating Town: Village Builder (the “Game”), published by Ellvan Studios for Android and supported web browsers.
1. Information Ellvan Studios collects
The Game does not require an account, and Ellvan Studios does not collect or receive personal information through the Game. The Game does not include advertising, third-party analytics, behavioral tracking, social messaging, or online multiplayer.
The Game does not send your saved worlds or gameplay activity to an Ellvan Studios server. It does not ask for your location, contacts, camera, microphone, or photo library.
2. Information stored on your device
To save your progress and preferences, the Game stores information locally in the app or browser on your device. This can include:
- saved villages, buildings, resources, and other gameplay progress;
- save-slot names and names or other text you choose to enter in the Game;
- control, sound, display, and other game settings; and
- tutorial progress and locally unlocked game content.
This information stays on your device and is not linked to an Ellvan Studios account. If you use a shared device, other people who can access that device or browser profile may be able to access its saved game data.
You can delete individual worlds from the Game’s save screen. You can remove all local data by clearing the app’s storage in your device settings, clearing the browser’s site data, or uninstalling the Android app. Android backup may include app data if backup is enabled on your device; backup and restore are controlled by Android and your Google account.
3. Google Play and platform services
If you download or update the Android Game through Google Play, Google may process information about your Google account, device, app installation, and store activity under Google’s own policies. Ellvan Studios does not receive your Google account password or payment-card details through the Game. The Game has no in-app purchases.
Read the Google Privacy Policy for information about Google’s practices. Android system backup, if enabled, is also handled by your device and Google account settings.
The Android package declares network access as part of its platform configuration. The Game does not use that access to upload gameplay data to Ellvan Studios or to run advertising or analytics. Opening this policy or another external link will connect your browser to that website, which is governed by its own privacy policy.
4. Children’s privacy
The Game does not ask players for their age or collect personal information from players. It has no account creation, advertising, chat, or social features. Saved names and progress remain on the player’s device as described above.
If you believe personal information has been sent to Ellvan Studios in connection with the Game, please contact us. We will review the request and take appropriate steps.
5. Data retention and security
Ellvan Studios does not maintain a server account or database of Game player information. Local game data remains on your device until you delete it using the options described in section 2, or it is removed by your device or browser.
Because saved game data is stored locally, its protection depends on your device, operating system, browser profile, and any backup settings you use. Keep your device access controls up to date and avoid storing sensitive personal information in save names.
6. Your privacy choices
You can stop using the Game at any time and delete local game data from the Game, your browser, or your device. Since Ellvan Studios does not receive or retain Game save data or account records, we do not have a server copy to access, correct, or delete. You can still contact us with privacy questions.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if the Game’s features or data practices change. We will post the current version here and update the date above.
